Biography

In 2018, Anna followed her passion for the Irish harp and started studying at the Irish World Academy, University of Limerick. She graduated in 2022 with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Irish Traditional Music Performance, achieving first-class honours in both.

Anna’s main instrument is the lever harp, which she uses to explore the boundaries between tradition and innovation. While completing her studies, Anna also gained teaching experience—working with a local Comhaltas branch and teaching undergraduate students at the Irish World Academy.

Her accomplishments have been recognised internationally: in 2022, she was awarded the Ian MacLeòid Young Composer Award by the Clarsach Society in Scotland, and in both 2023 and 2025, she earned the Silver Medal at the Trophée Camac in Lorient.
