Catriona McKay

Catriona McKay is a Scottish harper from Dundee, Scotland who spends a good bit of time in Ireland these days exploring the best of West Cork! In her early music years she played piano for her mother’s ballet classes, organ in the church and music at home with her folk singer father. Family holidays to the Keadue International Harp Festival were hugely enjoyed! Catriona has performed internationally with Shetland fiddler Chris Stout for more than 25 years, has designed a harp, made many recordings and one of her compositions about a Shetland herring fishing boat (Swan LK243) is played by musicians all over the world. www.catrionamckay.com
