Francis Cunningham
Biography
Francis Cunningham, a native of Crusheen, Co. Clare, is recognised as one of the finest young exponents of the concertina, with a deep dedication to the Clare musical tradition. He recently released an album with his wife Eimear Coughlan entitled ‘The Caves of Kiltanon’. A multi All-Ireland concertina champion and sought-after tutor, Francis has performed extensively across Europe and the United States. He has also taught at festivals and workshops, including Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy, Consairtín, The Feakle Festival, Scoil Éigse, Meitheal, and many others.
